You don’t marry the person you can live with … you marry the person you can’t live without.
The day you marry your friend, the one you laugh with, dream with, live for, love.
I always feel very honoured to be asked to be a couples wedding photographer. This is, after all, one of the most important days of your lives and I get to spend it with you at a very close and personal level throughout the entire day.
I enjoy natural light photography. I love making the most of the light and mood of the day. You don’t have to have a bright sunny day to create mesmerising outdoor shots!
at ease and comfortable in front of the camera
One of the biggest challenges a wedding photographer will face is making the bride and groom feel at ease and comfortable in front of the camera. This is where my years of dealing with people comes into its own! It’s not an easy thing to do and personally, I hate being on “the other side”. I have a very laid back style and am able to help even the most camera shy couples enjoy their day.
As a wedding photographer, I am there to get the job done, but this must not intrude into the couples wedding day. At our pre wedding meeting, we will run through the timings for your day, your list of must have photos and any do’s and dont’s!
I will be able to advise you on the time you will need to allow for your pictures and the key pictures I will be looking to achieve throughout the day, not forgetting to leave time for you to enjoy your day at your own pace.
Something borrowed, something blue. No detail is too small for you!
My aim is to tell a story with my wedding photography from the beginning of the day through to your first dance as Husband and Wife. I always ensure that I try to capture all of the little details that you have taken months and sometimes years planning from the perfume that you are wearing to the table decorations. It’s amazing how you fail to notice these things on the day when you get married. My wife says she had no idea what our flowers in the church looked like and can’t recall even seeing them! That’s where my job comes in. On the day, it will be impossible to take everything in and before you know it, the sun is setting and you’re ending your day as Husband and Wife. Your wedding day is an emotional rollercoaster, from anticipation and excitement through to tears of joy and laughter.
The heart of marriage is memories.
When you return from Honeymoon, you will sit down together and look back on your perfect day from beginning to end and everything in between.
Wedding Photography shouldn’t be about settling for second best. After all, your photos and memories are all that you will have to remember the day.
First things first, send me an email or give me a call to check availability for your special day.
I’m always happy to meet a couple to discuss your plans, whether it’s over coffee and chocolate cake or even a glass of wine, I’ll be there.
